Norman article
Sorry for my delay in posting a response to the Norman article. I found it to be very accessible; that is, easy for the layperson to read and understand. I think he raises some excellent points about design and universal accessibility, and see many parallels between the article and a course I took on exhibition design. I think this article will prove very useful when we do our final projects...

It's funny how all these research have been conducted, and they all point to the necessity of simplifying the instructional designs for the consumers, yet all these manufacturing companies write the worst instruction guides for their products.
I would agree with both you and "Tawn" that there is this interesting juxtaposition between the simplified version of design that can be presented to the public and how, in reality, many companies and publishers do....
Furthermore, I loved how more accessible this reading was. Bixby, you are right that this article will be very helpful to our final project. Would you like to do the final project with me? :)
